Why Richard Created EssayRating
Richard saw how misleading and biased many “review” sites had become. As someone who worked with students firsthand, he got tired of watching them waste money on essay services that overpromised and underdelivered. That frustration turned into motivation – and EssayRating was born. His approach is brutally honest, but always student-first. He believes reviews should be just as reliable as the services they describe.
Richard’s path to EssayRating wasn’t exactly straight – but it’s what makes him such a solid voice behind our reviews. He earned his Ph.D. in sociology after years of balancing teaching, research, and late-night grading. So yeah, he knows exactly how overwhelming academic life can get. When he stepped away from the classroom, Richard didn’t leave education behind. Instead, he shifted gears – using his research mindset and writing chops to help students in a different way. Now he leads the EssayRating editorial team, turning messy first drafts into reviews that actually help students make smart choices. He’s the one making sure every review stays up to date, cutting out the BS, and pushing the team to always ask: “Would this actually help a stressed-out student at 2 a.m.?” Behind the scenes, Richard keeps the tone honest, the facts tight, and the standards high. No hype, no filler – just reviews you can count on when it counts most.
Richard’s Role Behind the Reviews
“If you want real results, you need to test services the same way students actually use them – under pressure, with deadlines, and no second chances”
